The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Brufe FC defense, Marcinho Mineiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xavier Lopes. The Brufe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xavier Lopes should have stopped the shot. If Marcinho Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guido Leheren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Lopes having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Xavier Lopes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Brufe FC's Xavier Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Leheren in the 30th minute of play. After 37 minutes, Carlos Barbosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brufe FC and the Teixugueira players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Brufe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Brufe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Leheren came free, but Xavier Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes, Guido Leheren made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Brufe FC's Xavier Lopes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Xavier Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Leheren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 minutes Brufe FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abel Leiria who took care of the corner kick. Sebastião Cardoso tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Xavier Lopes. An unnecessary self made goal, 5-1 in the 72nd minute. In the 75thth minute of the game Guido Leheren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brufe FC's Xavier Lopes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Marcinho Mineiro notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Brufe FC's Xavier Lopes. Xavier Lopes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Teixugueira fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Teixugueira's Marcinho Mineiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marcinho Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Teixugueira fully deserved thier win.
