The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Homero Simões's late challenge caught a Hiroku Saikaro Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Homero Simões helped the player get up and apologised. Zacarias Caeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Christer Kjellberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jairo Mansilha. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. When Hiroku Saikaro Fc's Christer Kjellberg in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Altares FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Hiroku Saikaro Fc's Zacarias Caeiro got a free kick in the 17th minute. Jairo Mansilha didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 20th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Altares FC's Jairo Mansilha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Altares FC from getting a goal against them. Jairo Mansilha was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aristides Hernandez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. After 28 played minutes Altares FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudemiro Aguiar. Leonardo Pinhal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Silvestre Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Mansilha was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Zacarias Caeiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zacarias Caeiro really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Silvestre Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Jairo Mansilha acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 37th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Francisco Segio. In the 39th minute Aristides Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Mansilha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Zacarias Caeiro made a precise shot to the right of Jairo Mansilha. Altares FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Claudemiro Aguiar hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Hiroku Saikaro Fc's Christer Kjellberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Homero Simões made the kick off in the second half. Jairo Mansilha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Kjellberg in the 58th minute of play. After 63 played minutes Altares FC got a freekick which was hit by Caio Vasconcelos. After a defensive mix-up in Altares FC's zone, Christer Kjellberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Mansilha came out of the goal and Christer Kjellberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Caeiro in the 73rd minute of play forced Altares FC's goalkeeper Jairo Mansilha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Zacarias Caeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hiroku Saikaro Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. 79 minutes into the game, Zacarias Caeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Jairo Mansilha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aristides Hernandez during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 83 played minutes Hiroku Saikaro Fc got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Hernandez. After some careless play in the Altares FC defense, Christer Kjellberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Mansilha. The Altares FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Mansilha should have stopped the shot. After 89 minutes, Claudemiro Aguiar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Altares FC and the Hiroku Saikaro Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Hernandez in the 92nd minute of play forced Altares FC's goalkeeper Jairo Mansilha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Altares FC defense, Christer Kjellberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Mansilha. The Altares FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Mansilha should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hiroku Saikaro Fc fully deserved thier win.
