Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Palmiro Moura kicked off to start the match. Rubim Ponte hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Fernando Madeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, SLVidigueira's Jorge Fragoso got control of the ball when Rubim Ponte tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rubim Ponte got free with Jorge Fragoso in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute of the match GD Ribeirão got a corner. SLVidigueira's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lúcio Alcântara ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 14 played minutes SLVidigueira got a freekick which was hit by Estevão Montenegro. The long shot by Lúcio Alcântara in the 15th minute really tested Jorge Fragoso's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jorge Fragoso stood somewhat misplaced when Rubim Ponte came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 17 minute. Rubim Ponte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Jorge Fragoso made a huge save. Rubim Ponte's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Jorge Fragoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Palmiro Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SLVidigueira booed when GD Ribeirão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Rubim Ponte put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jorge Fragoso. 37 minutes into the game, Eduardo Semedo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jorge Fragoso. Eduardo Semedo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Ukko Määttänen managed to get in a good position for a shot. GD Ribeirão's supporters rose to their feet, but Ukko Määttänen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Fragoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 42 in the game by Rubim Ponte from a close distance when the talented Jorge Fragoso managed to make a qualified save. SLVidigueira's players were relieved. Jorge Fragoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ukko Määttänen in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, SLVidigueira's goalkeeper Jorge Fragoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rubim Ponte. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rubim Ponte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Rubim Ponte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jorge Fragoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When GD Ribeirão's Rubim Ponte in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SLVidigueira's goalie prevented a goal. SLVidigueira's Jorge Fragoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Teixeira in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Rubim Ponte notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of SLVidigueira's Jorge Fragoso. Jorge Fragoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of GD Ribeirão booed when SLVidigueira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Rebocho didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rubim Ponte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 72 minutes into the game, Rubim Ponte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Jorge Fragoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute Rubim Ponte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Fragoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SLVidigueira's Jorge Fragoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubim Ponte in the 79th minute of play. Rubim Ponte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Fragoso having to interfere. Jorge Fragoso came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by GD Ribeirão's Leonardo Teixeira. But to his dismay, Leonardo Teixeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0.
