Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Laborinense FC's Carlos Freitas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Palaios FC's Adalberto Leme got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd minute, Valdemar Vieira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laborinense FC's Valdemar Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eurico Figueiras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Vieira in the 13th minute of play. Nélson Cavaco hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palaios FC's goalkeeper Eurico Figueiras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Freitas in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eurico Figueiras saved Palaios FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Palaios FC's Isidoro Roriz got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Freitas in the 24th minute of play forced Palaios FC's goalkeeper Eurico Figueiras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdemar Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rúben Miranda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Bruno Conde made a huge save. Laborinense FC's Bruno Conde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Matias in the 40th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

52 minutes into the game, Rúben Miranda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Bruno Conde was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Laborinense FC's zone, Rúben Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Conde came out of the goal and Rúben Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Noel Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Noel Matias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Conde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Valdemar Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Noel Matias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Bruno Conde was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Valdemar Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eurico Figueiras having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Adolfo Álvares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Laborinense FC's Paulo Saraiva tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Eurico Figueiras made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdemar Vieira in the 93rd minute. After 93 played minutes Palaios FC got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Leme. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdemar Vieira got free with Eurico Figueiras in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laborinense FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
