Samarras FCG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MAG F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Samarras FCG getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Raimundo Câmara hit a great ball. Isaac Malvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lê Teo having to interfere. The supporters of Samarras FCG booed when MAG F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Lamego didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Câmara, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Lê Teo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melquiades Vachon in the 8th minute. In the 11th match minute, Samarras FCG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Câmara to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Lê Teo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 18 minutes into the match, Samarras FCG's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Malvin came free, but Lê Teo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of MAG F.C. booed when Samarras FCG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílcar Pegado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Vasconcelos having to interfere. If Isaac Malvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Correia in the 28th minute of play forced MAG F.C.'s goalkeeper Rui Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Vasconcelos came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Samarras FCG's Hermenegildo Leão. But to his dismay, Hermenegildo Leão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Lê Teo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Vachon in the 39th minute of the match. Samarras FCG's Lê Teo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Malvin in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Pedro Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Vasconcelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Samarras FCG's zone, Isaac Malvin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lê Teo came out of the goal and Isaac Malvin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lê Teo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaac Malvin's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Correia to strike the kick off in the second half. Rui Vasconcelos made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Pedro Correia sent off a good shot on target. Hermenegildo Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The referee gave MAG F.C. a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by André Mourão, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Samarras FCG's Lê Teo. 2-1. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Isaac Malvin sped through Samarras FCG's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lê Teo. In the 67th minute, Isaac Malvin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to MAG F.C. getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Júlio Bento hit a great ball. Gil Festas hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Gil Festas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Lê Teo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lê Teo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Malvin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samarras FCG's Lê Teo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Malvin in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Hermenegildo Leão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MAG F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gil Festas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rdth minute of the game Isaac Malvin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Samarras FCG's Lê Teo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 96 minutes in the game, Pedro Correia fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rui Vasconcelos having to interfere. André Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. MAG F.C. made a substitution. Martinho Horta replaced Melquiades Vachon. André Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 100th minute of the match. 102 minutes into the match, Samarras FCG's goal looked a bit too open when Martinho Horta came free, but Lê Teo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MAG F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
