Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute, Lions FC's André Tomé seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed André Tomé the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lions FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and André Tomé had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lions FC! Keanu Reeves might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Baptista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Keanu Reeves ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Lions FC defense, Adolfo Perdigão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerardo Zamudio. The Lions FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerardo Zamudio should have stopped the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Perdigão came free, but Jerardo Zamudio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Perdigão kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, JUVELEO FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Baptista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gervásio Vieira. 38 minutes into the match, Isac Azevedo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodrigo Baptista, 1-2. Rodrigo Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keanu Reeves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gervásio Vieira got free with Rodrigo Baptista in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute Dário Lemos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerardo Zamudio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerardo Zamudio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Perdigão in the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isac Azevedo made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Azevedo in the 54th minute of play forced JUVELEO FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute of the match Lions FC got a corner. JUVELEO FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Esteban Raebert ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Lions FC's Esteban Raebert to fire away a dangerous shot which Rodrigo Baptista despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rodrigo Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervásio Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 minutes, Adalberto Varela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JUVELEO FC and the Lions FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute of the match Esteban Raebert shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodrigo Baptista showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rogério Galvão charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogério Galvão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes JUVELEO FC got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Galvão. The audience was convinced that Gervásio Vieira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Baptista was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Rodrigo Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isac Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Isac Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Baptista. JUVELEO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isac Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Adalberto Varela got his second yellow card in the match during the 71st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Lions FC booed when JUVELEO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adalberto Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dário Lemos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervásio Vieira in the 82nd minute of play forced JUVELEO FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Keanu Reeves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lions FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Dário Lemos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerardo Zamudio having to interfere. Lions FC made a substitution. Angelo Abrantes replaced Sálvio Lages. After a defensive mix-up in Lions FC's zone, Adolfo Perdigão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerardo Zamudio came out of the goal and Adolfo Perdigão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dário Lemos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerardo Zamudio having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lions FC had won after a very even match.
