Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tasso FC's Syd Barret started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Syd Barret who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube Desportivo Benfica's Adolfo Rangel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eriberto Donatello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeferino Távora having to interfere. Alexandre Ponte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Zeferino Távora made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Syd Barret's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adolfo Rangel was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Sabino Espírito Santo scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeferino Távora, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Louis Fragou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Zeferino Távora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Burkhard Bieberstein hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the game, Eriberto Donatello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Zeferino Távora was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 23 played minutes Clube Desportivo Benfica got a freekick which was hit by Louis Fragou. In the 27th minute, António Casado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Eriberto Donatello could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Zeferino Távora however easily saved by the left post. Adolfo Rangel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Syd Barret's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Ponte in the 36th minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Zeferino Távora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tasso FC's Patrício Tomé got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Louis Fragou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Zeferino Távora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Rangel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Leão in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Syd Barret in the 46th minute of play forced Clube Desportivo Benfica's goalkeeper Adolfo Rangel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Burkhard Bieberstein made a kick off. If Eriberto Donatello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute, Eriberto Donatello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeferino Távora was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After some careless play in the Tasso FC defense, Eriberto Donatello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeferino Távora. The Tasso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeferino Távora should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes into the match, Eriberto Donatello notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Tasso FC's Zeferino Távora. Zeferino Távora was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adolfo Rangel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Mendonça in the 65th minute of play. Zeferino Távora stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eriberto Donatello's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. A hard shot 75 in the game by Syd Barret from a close distance when the talented Adolfo Rangel managed to make a qualified save. Clube Desportivo Benfica's players were relieved. Zeferino Távora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burkhard Bieberstein, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When Burkhard Bieberstein came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Clube Desportivo Benfica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Burkhard Bieberstein couldn't finish the play. Zeferino Távora came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Desportivo Benfica's Li Hong Qi. But to his dismay, Li Hong Qi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 89thth minute of the game Eriberto Donatello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tasso FC's Zeferino Távora was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zeferino Távora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burkhard Bieberstein in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Clube Desportivo Benfica fully deserved thier win.
