A hard shot by Joaquim Vaz from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Hermengildo Fiz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Hermengildo Fiz made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Júlio Valverde sent off a good shot on target. Dominik Chmelyk hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute Anton Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Cucao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aureliano Cucao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tristan Westermann in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
