Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Patrício Sequeira kicked off to start the match. After 3 minutes of play, Vaz FC's Ricardo Mourinho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Radowit Wielgopolski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Radowit Wielgopolski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Cercel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Mourinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radowit Wielgopolski having to make a save. Patrício Sequeira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimiro Medeiros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Teodor Cercel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 14 minutes into the match, Vaz FC's Teodor Cercel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radowit Wielgopolski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vaz FC's Ricardo Mourinho got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Teodor Cercel notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of SC Varzim's Radowit Wielgopolski. Radowit Wielgopolski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 23 minutes into the match, Teodor Cercel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Radowit Wielgopolski. SC Varzim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodor Cercel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When Patrício Sequeira came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the SC Varzim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrício Sequeira couldn't finish the play. When Vaz FC's Ricardo Mourinho in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Varzim's goalie prevented a goal. Radowit Wielgopolski came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Vaz FC's Ricardo Mourinho. But to his dismay, Ricardo Mourinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodor Cercel in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radowit Wielgopolski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vaz FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Caio Liberato in the 36th minute. In the 43rd match minute, Vaz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Queirós to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th match minute, Vaz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Xabel to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Sérgio Damásio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Vaz FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardo Mourinho to make the kick off. Teodor Cercel struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Radowit Wielgopolski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vaz FC. Flavio Xabel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 59 minutes, Teodor Cercel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vaz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodor Cercel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Mourinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radowit Wielgopolski was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. 67 minutes into the match, SC Varzim's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Xabel came free, but Radowit Wielgopolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, SC Varzim's goalkeeper Radowit Wielgopolski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Mourinho. Teodor Cercel came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Radowit Wielgopolski could save by the left post. Radowit Wielgopolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Mourinho in the 75th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Ricardo Mourinho put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Radowit Wielgopolski. Patrício Sequeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Medeiros having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Flavio Xabel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Radowit Wielgopolski, 0-7. If Teodor Cercel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Vaz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patrício Sequeira came free, but Vladimiro Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radowit Wielgopolski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Mourinho's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vaz FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
