Alheira FC's Vaggelis Kotsalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Esteves in the 3rd minute of play. Vaggelis Kotsalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Diegues in the 6th minute of the match. Alheira FC's Vaggelis Kotsalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Diegues in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Sport Clube Encarnacense's Fabiano Esteves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vaggelis Kotsalos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. João Pegado hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Sport Clube Encarnacense's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fabiano Esteves in the 19th minute. The corner ended in Fabiano Esteves almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Alheira FC's Vaggelis Kotsalos did a great save. Vaggelis Kotsalos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabiano Esteves's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. The throw-in from Tiago Quintela in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sport Clube Encarnacense's Cristiano Noronha. Lisandro Brochado hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Lisandro Brochado came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vaggelis Kotsalos could save by the left post. In the 35th minute, João Pegado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Modestas Gotautas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nuno Baptista in the 51st minute. In the 54th match minute, Sport Clube Encarnacense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogo Diegues to maneuver through the defense. Alheira FC's Vaggelis Kotsalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Esteves in the 57th minute of play. A hard shot 59 in the game by Severiano Dias from a close distance when the talented Modestas Gotautas managed to make a qualified save. Sport Clube Encarnacense's players were relieved. Vaggelis Kotsalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Albuquerque in the 61st minute of play. Cassiano Gusmão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Matias Albuquerque had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vaggelis Kotsalos. Alheira FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matias Albuquerque was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Tiago Quintela's late challenge caught a Sport Clube Encarnacense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiago Quintela helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sport Clube Encarnacense booed when Alheira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Quintela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sport Clube Encarnacense made a substitution. Gabriel Peixoto replaced Matias Albuquerque. Sport Clube Encarnacense's Paulino Freire was substituted for Lisandro Brochado. Tiago Quintela kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Rogério Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabiano Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Vaggelis Kotsalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vaggelis Kotsalos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabiano Esteves's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. When Severiano Dias came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Alheira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severiano Dias couldn't finish the play.
