Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Severiano Dias started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes SC Varzim's goalkeeper Radowit Wielgopolski managed, with a little bit of luck, save Adelino Gusmão's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Alheira FC's Adelino Gusmão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Radowit Wielgopolski. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. In the 14th minute, Cassiano Gusmão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute, Hélder Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cassiano Gusmão was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. Alheira FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With his leg Radowit Wielgopolski managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Alheira FC's Severiano Dias fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 22 minutes SC Varzim's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adelino Gusmão who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in João Pegado heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Radowit Wielgopolski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassiano Gusmão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, SC Varzim's goal looked a bit too open when Cassiano Gusmão came free, but Radowit Wielgopolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severiano Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vaggelis Kotsalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrício Sequeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Evert Borre's late challenge caught a Alheira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evert Borre helped the player get up and apologised. Evert Borre kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Alheira FC's Cassiano Gusmão dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrício Sequeira was the one to do the kick off. Patrício Sequeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Vaggelis Kotsalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54thth minute of the game Patrício Sequeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alheira FC's Vaggelis Kotsalos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Radowit Wielgopolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Dias in the 55th minute of play. Cassiano Gusmão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Radowit Wielgopolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cassiano Gusmão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Patrício Sequeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaggelis Kotsalos having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Severiano Dias put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Radowit Wielgopolski. Nicolau Simões's late challenge caught a SC Varzim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolau Simões helped the player get up and apologised. Nicolau Simões hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Severiano Dias scored 4-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radowit Wielgopolski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cassiano Gusmão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vaggelis Kotsalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. A collision led to SC Varzim getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Patrício Sequeira hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Silvério Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Alheira FC had played much better football throughout.
