Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Patrício Sequeira started the match with the kick off. Fabiano Esteves took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radowit Wielgopolski. Radowit Wielgopolski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to SC Varzim getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Paulino Miguéis hit a great ball. Sport Clube Encarnacense's Lisandro Brochado got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SC Varzim's Silvério Pedroso got a free kick in the 17th minute. Diogo Diegues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Radowit Wielgopolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Lisandro Brochado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Radowit Wielgopolski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 29 minutes of play, Sport Clube Encarnacense's Matias Albuquerque made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Radowit Wielgopolski was left in no man's land by his defense there! 33 minutes into the match, SC Varzim's Hélder Gaspar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Modestas Gotautas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 36th match minute, SC Varzim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrício Sequeira to maneuver through the defense. Lisandro Brochado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radowit Wielgopolski having to make a save. Radowit Wielgopolski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Varzim's goalkeeper Radowit Wielgopolski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Fabiano Esteves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sport Clube Encarnacense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. The SC Varzim players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sport Clube Encarnacense were winning 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lisandro Brochado was the one to do the kick off. Lisandro Brochado in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Radowit Wielgopolski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Radowit Wielgopolski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lisandro Brochado in the 56th minute. Lisandro Brochado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Radowit Wielgopolski came out and tried to block the shot, but Lisandro Brochado slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 57th minute. Fabiano Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 63 minutes into the match, SC Varzim's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Esteves came free, but Radowit Wielgopolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, SC Varzim's goalkeeper Radowit Wielgopolski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lisandro Brochado. The supporters of Sport Clube Encarnacense booed when SC Varzim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Miguéis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Paulino Miguéis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrício Sequeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modestas Gotautas having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabiano Esteves in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radowit Wielgopolski saved SC Varzim from getting behind. After 80 minutes, Fabiano Esteves made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. SC Varzim's Radowit Wielgopolski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sport Clube Encarnacense made a substitution. Paulino Freire replaced Lisandro Brochado. Patrício Sequeira took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Modestas Gotautas. Modestas Gotautas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. Radowit Wielgopolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Fabiano Esteves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radowit Wielgopolski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. If Fabiano Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sport Clube Encarnacense eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
