If Jacobo Venerando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mira United FC's Eriberto Bonadona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Venerando in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Madvik FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. José Carlos Félix hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, Madvik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Pires came free, but Carles Olle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Madvik FC made a substitution. Pedro Teves replaced Laércio Resende. Madvik FC's Tobias Pinho was substituted for 姚朗弘. Madvik FC's Lucílio Vilanova was substituted for Jacobo Venerando. The audience was convinced that Gregório Neiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carles Olle was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game.
