Lokon Lauli helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Carterton United's Lokon Lauli got a free kick in the 4th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chike Abacha in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Aikhomu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Titilayo Abbey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Rafael Aikhomu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chike Abacha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Nedu Mochaa made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Chike Abacha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carterton United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 62 minutes of play, Carterton United's Titilayo Abbey made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Aikhomu was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Carterton United's Chike Abacha in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 68th minute, Chike Abacha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chike Abacha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Aikhomu having to interfere. If Omeokachie Onigbinde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Helston AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Titilayo Abbey came free, but Rafael Aikhomu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Aikhomu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Titilayo Abbey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Carterton United's Chike Abacha in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aribisala Abioye during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Helston AFC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Aribisala Abioye hit a great ball. Rafael Aikhomu came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Carterton United's Chike Abacha. But to his dismay, Chike Abacha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When Carterton United's Chike Abacha in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Helston AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 86th minute, Chike Abacha made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Aikhomu. Helston AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Helston AFC's Rafael Aikhomu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chike Abacha in the 91st minute of play. If Titilayo Abbey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 97th minute Nedu Mochaa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Obika Ajah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carterton United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
