Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abass Odumegwu took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Jolaoya Aga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chigozie Diya was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 16th minute Ahijah Amana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chigozie Diya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blessed Emeka charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blessed Emeka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jolaoya Aga in the 18th minute of play forced Knapton's goalkeeper Chigozie Diya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Knapton's Kesiana Ademokun got a free kick in the 24th minute. Solomon Aiyetan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Knapton's Chukwudi Henry Iyenemi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ejike Ohenhen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Solomon Aiyetan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After a rather tough play, Knapton's Enyi Gbadebo got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Jolaoya Aga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Solomon Aiyetan took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chigozie Diya. Chigozie Diya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ejike Ohenhen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abass Odumegwu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Yatton's Ejike Ohenhen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abass Odumegwu in the 70th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Solomon Aiyetan got free with Chigozie Diya in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute of the game, Ahijah Amana landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 73 minutes, Comfort Okocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Knapton and the Yatton players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th minute, Comfort Okocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Solomon Aiyetan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Chigozie Diya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Knapton's Pascal Awu got a free kick in the 82nd minute. When Solomon Aiyetan came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Yatton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Solomon Aiyetan couldn't finish the play.
