Elewechi Darangi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lewes FC. Elewechi Darangi made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Ahmadu Onobo sent off a good shot on target. Lewes FC's Ahmadu Onobo got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Nwabugwu Odubena made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Olugbenga Defiagbon sent off a good shot on target. Lewes FC's Nwabugwu Odubena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Lewes FC from getting a goal against them. Elewechi Darangi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmadu Onobo , even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmadu Onobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elewechi Darangi having to interfere. If Nwokeocha Odejayi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nwabugwu Odubena didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Buckfast Abbey's Olugbenga Defiagbon shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Ahmadu Onobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Elewechi Darangi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was a well-played corner which Jibrin Obiabo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.
