Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Akamadu Fashiro got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Achua Okatahi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wincanton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Achua Okatahi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 5th minute Nnachi Oyebode shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akin Aduaka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lawrence Edereho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theodore Akassa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Theodore Akassa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 played minutes Wincanton got a freekick which was hit by Onyemere Ezukanma. Ofodile Onwuama sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Akin Aduaka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akamadu Fashiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 played minutes, Deal FC's Ahmadu Aro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Akin Aduaka came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deal FC reached it. With a little luck, Wincanton's Akin Aduaka got control of the ball when Kosisochukwu Oludimu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Theodore Akassa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Nkeiruka Onigbinde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Akin Aduaka made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Kosisochukwu Oludimu sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the match, Wincanton's goalkeeper Akin Aduaka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kosisochukwu Oludimu. After the first half Wincanton were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Theodore Akassa was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Wincanton's Chinonyelum Onyenagorom got a free kick in the 51st minute. Akin Aduaka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akamadu Fashiro in the 52nd minute of the match. Theodore Akassa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ofodile Onwuama charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ofodile Onwuama the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ofodile Onwuama hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Nkeiruka Onigbinde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Lawrence Edereho made a huge save. In the 79th match minute, Deal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wise Udenkwele to maneuver through the defense. Theodore Akassa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lawrence Edereho having to interfere. Akamadu Fashiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Deal FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Lawrence Edereho went to the wrong direction when Comfort Arah was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Lawrence Edereho made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Nkeiruka Onigbinde sent off a good shot on target. Wincanton's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
