Idoko Owoleke was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Isaac Mochaa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Idoko Owoleke.

The wind increased when Chukwujekwu Abidoye made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Wootton Bassett booed when Haslingfield AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chukwujekwu Abidoye didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Wootton Bassett's zone, Chukwujekwu Abidoye stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iroawuchi Adelabu came out of the goal and Chukwujekwu Abidoye tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chukwujekwu Abidoye in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iroawuchi Adelabu prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
