Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bina Akintemi got the match started through his kick off. Bromyard's Ibekwe Asokuh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tarila Sharah in the 3rd minute of play. With a little luck, Bromyard's Ibekwe Asokuh got control of the ball when Isaac Mochaa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isaac Mochaa had several of the Bromyard's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Ibekwe Asokuh as he didn't even see the shot coming. Isaac Mochaa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Ibekwe Asokuh made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Bromyard's zone, Dumeto Oretan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ibekwe Asokuh came out of the goal and Dumeto Oretan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bina Akintemi in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iroawuchi Adelabu saved Wootton Bassett from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, Bromyard's goal looked a bit too open when Tarila Sharah came free, but Ibekwe Asokuh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bina Akintemi in the 23rd minute of play forced Wootton Bassett's goalkeeper Iroawuchi Adelabu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wootton Bassett's Kete Titus Dada shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 27th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ibekwe Asokuh but with some difficulty. After 29 minutes, Francis Ochenehi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wootton Bassett and the Bromyard players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Wootton Bassett's Francis Ochenehi got a free kick in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bina Akintemi in the 33rd minute of play forced Wootton Bassett's goalkeeper Iroawuchi Adelabu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ajuluchukwu Jakada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ajuluchukwu Jakada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eddy Dukumor kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Tarila Sharah made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Isaac Mochaa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ibekwe Asokuh was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Ibekwe Asokuh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Mochaa in the 56th minute of play. Bina Akintemi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Iroawuchi Adelabu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Wootton Bassett booed when Bromyard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Obafemi Udenkwor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Okwii Enyeama charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Okwii Enyeama the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Wootton Bassett booed when Bromyard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Okwii Enyeama didn't get a good kick on the ball. Badamasi Abalaka's late challenge caught a Wootton Bassett's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Badamasi Abalaka helped the player get up and apologised. Ibekwe Asokuh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarila Sharah in the 92nd minute of the match. If Tarila Sharah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bromyard's Ibekwe Asokuh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Mochaa in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wootton Bassett fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bromyard had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
