In the 4th minute, Henry Maga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. THE ELECTRONS's Onwughara Omanukwue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nwabuno Adedayo in the 8th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Enang Imaji's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Onwughara Omanukwue was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Enang Imaji sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Onwughara Omanukwue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nwabuno Adedayo in the 18th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Enang Imaji managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prudhoe's supporters rose to their feet, but Enang Imaji was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Onwughara Omanukwue breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the THE ELECTRONS defense, Enang Imaji kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Onwughara Omanukwue. The THE ELECTRONS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Onwughara Omanukwue should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Prudhoe's zone, Dayo Abonta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oghogho Jayeoba came out of the goal and Dayo Abonta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartholomew Uchara during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Prudhoe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartholomew Uchara to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as THE ELECTRONS's Dayo Abonta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oghogho Jayeoba. That made the score 1-1 after 30 minutes of play. Nwabuno Adedayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Onwughara Omanukwue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prudhoe's Ubani Netufo got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ubani Netufo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Onwughara Omanukwue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enang Imaji in the 48th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nwabuno Adedayo was the one to do the kick off. Olaka Olubandele thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Onwughara Omanukwue, a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 1-2. Onwughara Omanukwue was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nwabuno Adedayo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 56 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in THE ELECTRONS's zone, Enang Imaji stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Onwughara Omanukwue came out of the goal and Enang Imaji tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute Nwabuno Adedayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Onwughara Omanukwue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nwabuno Adedayo in the 73rd minute of play forced THE ELECTRONS's goalkeeper Onwughara Omanukwue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Maga kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes Prudhoe got a freekick which was hit by Enang Imaji.
