In the 8th minute Somadina Olowosuko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osondu Sodje saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Baldock's zone, Robai Julius Ngoka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dauda Adaramoye came out of the goal and Robai Julius Ngoka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ololade Adebanjo's late challenge caught a Keelby United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ololade Adebanjo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Keelby United booed when Baldock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ololade Adebanjo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osondu Sodje took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Somadina Olowosuko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Muhammad Ijeh fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baldock's protests and gave Muhammad Ijeh a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Baldock got a freekick which was hit by Muhammad Ijeh. Osi Adeleye, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Somadina Olowosuko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osondu Sodje having to interfere. Somadina Olowosuko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Isaiah Chilaka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Robai Julius Ngoka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dauda Adaramoye was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Osondu Sodje made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaiah Chilaka in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Isaiah Chilaka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osondu Sodje was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Somadina Olowosuko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Keelby United's goal looked a bit too open when Isaiah Chilaka came free, but Osondu Sodje reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robai Julius Ngoka might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dauda Adaramoye. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robai Julius Ngoka ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47th minute Eche Ekeh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dauda Adaramoye saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Somadina Olowosuko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Somadina Olowosuko got free with Osondu Sodje in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eche Ekeh in the 57th minute of play forced Baldock's goalkeeper Dauda Adaramoye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nwakamma Okobi charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nwakamma Okobi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute, Nwakamma Okobi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Somadina Olowosuko got free with Osondu Sodje in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Isaiah Chilaka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osondu Sodje was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. The supporters of Baldock booed when Keelby United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chinagorom Geidam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Somadina Olowosuko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Oddy Taiwo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Keelby United's Osondu Sodje got control of the ball when Somadina Olowosuko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Somadina Olowosuko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osondu Sodje having to interfere. Baldock were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
