If Mudashiru Bamsebi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tettenhall getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Abduwa Olulode hit a great ball. Dahunsi Ughaelu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olakunle Pascal having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Tettenhall got a freekick which was hit by Abduwa Olulode. Adebowale Aduma kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiekwugo Ajatta in the 18th minute of play forced Enyimba's goalkeeper Anorigwo Oladele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tettenhall's Olakunle Pascal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nwokezuike Adaga in the 23rd minute of play. When Dahunsi Ughaelu came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Enyimba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dahunsi Ughaelu couldn't finish the play. Dahunsi Ughaelu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dahunsi Ughaelu got free with Olakunle Pascal in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Akabueze Odita hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nwokezuike Adaga in the 36th minute of play forced Tettenhall's goalkeeper Olakunle Pascal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nwokezuike Adaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olakunle Pascal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nwokezuike Adaga in the 41st minute of play. If Dahunsi Ughaelu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abduwa Olulode charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abduwa Olulode the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd minute, Abduwa Olulode hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tettenhall's Olakunle Pascal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Tettenhall from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nwokezuike Adaga to strike the kick off in the second half. Nwokezuike Adaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dahunsi Ughaelu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Olakunle Pascal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dahunsi Ughaelu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olakunle Pascal having to interfere. Olakunle Pascal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dahunsi Ughaelu in the 63rd minute of the match. Enyimba's Anorigwo Oladele proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Enyimba from getting a goal against them. After 81 minutes, Eddy Ajatta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Enyimba and the Tettenhall players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Enyimba's Eddy Ajatta got a free kick in the 81st minute. Chiekwugo Ajatta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anorigwo Oladele having to interfere. Chukwueloka Dikko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anorigwo Oladele read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After 89 minutes, Toto Otiji mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Enyimba and the Tettenhall players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Toto Otiji hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chiekwugo Ajatta kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Okwudilichukwu Shahada kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After 95 played minutes, Enyimba's Isah Kabir shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Olakunle Pascal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Enyimba reached it. Enyimba's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
