A collision led to Ingatestone City getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Philemon Mbong hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Ingatestone City's goal looked a bit too open when Kayode Olagunju came free, but Mutu Iwuanyanwu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Tipton's goal looked a bit too open when Choice Babaniji came free, but Gabriel Adeniran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Abisodun in the 30th minute of play forced Ingatestone City's goalkeeper Mutu Iwuanyanwu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tipton's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Simon Nkwocha in the 32nd minute. Iyke Uhunmwangho made a great header on Tipton's corner, it was just that Ingatestone City's Mutu Iwuanyanwu managed to reach the ball for a save. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Samson Etoh Sajo came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Ingatestone City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samson Etoh Sajo couldn't finish the play. When Tipton's Kayode Olagunju in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ingatestone City's goalie prevented a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kayode Olagunju was the one to do the kick off. In the 64th minute, Onyinyechukwuka Ajogi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Nkwocha, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Kayode Olagunju came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Tipton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kayode Olagunju couldn't finish the play. Mutu Iwuanyanwu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aro Gora in the 69th minute. With a little luck, Ingatestone City's Mutu Iwuanyanwu got control of the ball when Aro Gora tried to sneak it across the goal line. Samson Etoh Sajo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Gabriel Adeniran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samson Etoh Ahmed's late challenge caught a Ingatestone City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samson Etoh Ahmed helped the player get up and apologised. Samson Etoh Ahmed hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Choice Babaniji sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aro Gora's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Mutu Iwuanyanwu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 82 minutes into the game, Philemon Mbong was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Tipton's Kayode Olagunju in the 92nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Mutu Iwuanyanwu was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Ingatestone City through an amazing save. Gabriel Adeniran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Choice Babaniji, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. If Choice Babaniji had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tipton's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
