Ramsey United's Obiuto Fajemirokun got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ramsey United! Iyke Otite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jibunoh Shuaibu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Obiuto Fajemirokun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yussuf Bodams showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Obiuto Fajemirokun, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Musa Achima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yussuf Bodams having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Musa Achima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ramsey United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Otutodilichukwu Iwuchukwu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iyke Otite having to interfere. Obiuto Fajemirokun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Yussuf Bodams tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Otutodilichukwu Iwuchukwu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Iyke Otite skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ramsey United! When the match had been going on for 38 minutes, Royal Legends Academy's Kunle Uzoezie got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Iyke Otite. Otutodilichukwu Iwuchukwus short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Iyke Otite to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Yussuf Bodams showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Musa Achima in the 43rd minute of the match. Iyke Otite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otutodilichukwu Iwuchukwu, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Jibunoh Shuaibu struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Iyke Otite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Royal Legends Academy. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Obiuto Fajemirokun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramsey United's supporters rose to their feet, but Obiuto Fajemirokun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yussuf Bodams breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Royal Legends Academy's Yussuf Bodams proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Royal Legends Academy from getting a goal against them. Iyke Otite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otutodilichukwu Iwuchukwu, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, Royal Legends Academy's Mohammadu Ikeh got a free kick in the 66th minute. Minabo Nnaji's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yussuf Bodams read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Royal Legends Academy's Yussuf Bodams played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Musa Achima in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Royal Legends Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Ejibunu to maneuver through the defense. Yussuf Bodams didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Musa Achima went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Obiuto Fajemirokun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramsey United's supporters rose to their feet, but Obiuto Fajemirokun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yussuf Bodams breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ramsey United's goalkeeper Iyke Otite, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Royal Legends Academy's Yussuf Bodams got control of the ball when Obiuto Fajemirokun tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Jibunoh Shuaibu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iyke Otite was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Iyke Otite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otutodilichukwu Iwuchukwu in the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Royal Legends Academy's goalkeeper Yussuf Bodams had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Obiuto Fajemirokun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otutodilichukwu Iwuchukwu in the 94th minute of play forced Ramsey United's goalkeeper Iyke Otite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Royal Legends Academy getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Stephen Oguonu hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ramsey United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Royal Legends Academy.
