In the 22nd minute, Eby Abodunrin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yoruba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Chiazago Akinola's late challenge caught a Leicester's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eby Abodunrin took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enang Akosu. After 34 minutes of play, Yoruba FC's Tochi Oluwafemi made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enang Akosu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enang Akosu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tochi Oluwafemi in the 38th minute of the match. Osar Ihekire lost his temper 39 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Leicester fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Yoruba FC. Chiazago Akinola stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Enang Akosu. 0-10. Enang Akosu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tochi Oluwafemi, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

Leicester's Enang Akosu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Leicester from getting a goal against them. Festus Owotoki struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Enang Akosu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yoruba FC. Enang Akosu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tochi Oluwafemi in the 67th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Leicester's goal looked a bit too open when Tochi Oluwafemi came free, but Enang Akosu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Yoruba FC's Festus Owotoki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kambina Datoru hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Leicester's zone, Tochi Oluwafemi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enang Akosu came out of the goal and Tochi Oluwafemi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th match minute, Leicester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiefo Ekata to maneuver through the defense. Enang Akosu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tochi Oluwafemi went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-14 was the resulting score. Enang Akosu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 90th minute, which inside left pole to 0-15. In the 94th minute, Yoruba FC's Tochi Oluwafemi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Enang Akosu. Enang Akosu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-16. The Leicester fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Yoruba FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
