In the 8th minute of the match, Guy Monzon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Clever Akpala saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kelvin Nwogu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Clever Akpala made a huge save. Venantius Atoyebi kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, OK8CHA MZT's goal looked a bit too open when Ositadimma Odiaka came free, but Olawale Dimeji reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diss's Clever Akpala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Diss from getting a goal against them. Guy Monzons short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Clever Akpala to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 30 minutes, Kieffers Abaku mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diss and the OK8CHA MZT players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Diss getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Kieffers Abaku hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Guy Monzon fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Clever Akpala, passed just outside the right post. Clever Akpala didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kelvin Nwogu went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tajudeen Ajanaku in the 37th minute of play forced OK8CHA MZT's goalkeeper Olawale Dimeji to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, OK8CHA MZT's Clever Akpala threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gaiya Okupe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 45th minute Onuchukwu Olerum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olawale Dimeji saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diss's Clever Akpala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kelvin Nwogu in the 70th minute of play. The referee gave OK8CHA MZT a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cosmin Iosif, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Diss's Clever Akpala. 8-0. Osarobo Shittu's late challenge caught a OK8CHA MZT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osarobo Shittu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Diss's Osarobo Shittu got a free kick in the 76th minute. Guy Monzon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clever Akpala having to make a save. Clever Akpala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kelvin Nwogu in the 79th minute of the match. Venantius Atoyebi kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Kelvin Nwogu made a precise shot to the right of Clever Akpala. Diss's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Clever Akpala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kelvin Nwogu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tajudeen Ajanaku got free with Olawale Dimeji in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Diss's zone, Kelvin Nwogu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clever Akpala came out of the goal and Kelvin Nwogu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guy Monzon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Diss getting a freekick after 99 minutes play.
