The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Fouad Dolmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Al-Hoceima reached it. In the 38th minute Takfarinas Tamsamani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamil Jrindou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Al-Hoceima booed when Ouarzazate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yugerten El Brazi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fouad Dolmi made a kick off. Takfarinas Tamsamani's late challenge caught a Ouarzazate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Takfarinas Tamsamani helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes Al-Hoceima got a freekick which was hit by Takfarinas Tamsamani. If Moustafa Arazi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aslal Farass showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fouad Dolmi in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Takfarinas Tamsamani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamil Jrindou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 minutes, Yufitran Lamari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Al-Hoceima and the Ouarzazate players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aslal Farass showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fouad Dolmi, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Al-Hoceima's zone, Fouad Dolmi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aslal Farass came out of the goal and Fouad Dolmi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moustafa Arazi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aslal Farass having to interfere. If Fouad Dolmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Fouad Dolmi came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Ouarzazate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fouad Dolmi couldn't finish the play. Aslal Farass took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boutahar Zeryouh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moustafa Arazi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
