Abdelhafiz Lahoua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ouahib Nekach read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Ouahib Nekach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nouman Abdessadki in the 24th minute of the match. Ouahib Nekach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sayid Ziyati, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Ismael Lamin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rachid Ahahaoui's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Agerzam El Idrissi hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Rachid Ahahaoui got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Agerzam El Idrissi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael Lamin was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. When Jamil Ajri fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fès's protests and gave Jamil Ajri a yellow card for diving instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agerzam El Idrissi was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Settat Chabab's zone, Sayid Ziyati stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ouahib Nekach came out of the goal and Sayid Ziyati tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sayid Ziyati in the 56th minute of play forced Settat Chabab's goalkeeper Ouahib Nekach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ouahib Nekach didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sayid Ziyati went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ismael Lamin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agerzam El Idrissi went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rachid Ahahaoui in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Lamin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rachid Ahahaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 2-1 became the score in the 74th minute when Agerzam El Idrissi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Settat Chabab fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fès had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
