The audience thought a goal was coming when Yani Antaki got free with Afer Mehdi in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the game, Wajih Abdellaoui cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marwan Akachar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kenitra's goalkeeper Afer Mehdi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Yani Antaki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenitra's Afer Mehdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zakariya Doukali in the 13th minute of play. Asfru Kadmiri hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Kenitra's Afer Mehdi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Kenitra from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Zakariya Doukali's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afer Mehdi was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. 26 minutes into the match, Kenitra's Wajih Abdellaoui sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marwan Akachar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Kenitra booed when Fès was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aziz Alloudi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Massin Lahlafi hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Fès's Marwan Akachar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Fès from getting a goal against them. Marwan Akachar acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 67th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zakariya Sarraj. Magher Bourkadi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Marwan Akachar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Magher Bourkadis short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Marwan Akachar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 73rd minute, Kenitra's Wajih Abdellaoui dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After 76 minutes, Safi Bidouane mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fès and the Kenitra players grew even worse after the yellow card. 77 minutes in the game, Magher Bourkadi dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 80 minutes into the game, Massin Lahlafi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fès's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kenitra the free kick. In the 80th minute, one of Fès:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fès. When the match had been going on for 82 minutes, Kenitra's Asfru Kadmiri got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marwan Akachar. If Magher Bourkadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fès's Marwan Akachar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wajih Abdellaoui in the 93rd minute of play. A collision led to Fès getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Nasri Chkilit hit a great ball. After 98 minutes Fès's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Asfru Kadmiri who took care of the corner kick. Kenitra's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
