Wajih El Brazi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zouheir Aini having to interfere. Tarfaya's Zouheir Aini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wajih El Brazi in the 31st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Massin El Yaagoubi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarfaya's supporters rose to their feet, but Massin El Yaagoubi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chokri Boughanem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Wajih El Brazi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Massin El Yaagoubi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Chokri Boughanem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 44 minutes, Massin El Yaagoubi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tarfaya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Massin El Yaagoubi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 49th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tarfaya's goalkeeper Zouheir Aini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afulay Nekach to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afulay Nekach in the 56th minute of play forced Ouarzazate's goalkeeper Chokri Boughanem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afulay Nekach kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Zouheir Aini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wajih El Brazi in the 68th minute of the match. Afulay Nekach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Chokri Boughanem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Ouarzazate's goal looked a bit too open when Massin El Yaagoubi came free, but Chokri Boughanem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Wajih El Brazi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chokri Boughanem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afulay Nekach in the 82nd minute of play. After 84 played minutes Tarfaya got a freekick which was hit by Mamoun Hissou. Salim Ouchahbar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Zouheir Aini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nasri El Kaddouri in the 87th minute of play. Ouarzazate's Chokri Boughanem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Ouarzazate from getting a goal against them.
