Tahir Dadi kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th match minute, El Jadida AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Meddur Akaaboune to maneuver through the defense. When Meddur Akaaboune fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Jadida AS's protests and gave Meddur Akaaboune a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to El Jadida AS getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Meddur Akaaboune hit a great ball. If Mansour Sarraj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hadji Samaoui might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jamal El Khattabi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hadji Samaoui ran back to his position shaking his head. Mansour Chihi struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Ralib Kouha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rabat Fath. Jamal El Khattabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atbir Chiba in the 30th minute of play. With a little luck, El Jadida AS's Ralib Kouha got control of the ball when Mansour Sarraj tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mansour Chihi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralib Kouha having to interfere. Souleimane Jrindou kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Rabat Fath's goal looked a bit too open when Atbir Chiba came free, but Jamal El Khattabi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Naji El Morabet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Rabat Fath booed when El Jadida AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tahir Dadi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mansour Chihi might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ralib Kouha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mansour Chihi ran back to his position shaking his head. Jamal El Khattabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atbir Chiba in the 48th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hadji Samaoui stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Souleimane Jrindou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El Jadida AS's Hadji Samaoui got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Rabat Fath's goalkeeper Jamal El Khattabi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atbir Chiba. Ralib Kouha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mansour Chihi, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Atbir Chiba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jamal El Khattabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jamal El Khattabi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hadji Samaoui showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 69 minute of play. If Atbir Chiba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Rabat Fath's Jamal El Khattabi got control of the ball when Atbir Chiba tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rabat Fath's Ilyass Zairi got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 89 minutes of play El Jadida AS's Meddur Akaaboune was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, El Jadida AS's Meddur Akaaboune got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 90th minute, Ameqran Boussaboun sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and El Jadida AS's Ralib Kouha didn't even have to move. The El Jadida AS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing El Jadida AS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
