Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nasri Regragui started the match with the kick off. Izri Sakim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Mass El Zhar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rachid Lamyaghri hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Asmun Fegrouch might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mass El Zhar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Asmun Fegrouch ran back to his position shaking his head. Asmun Fegrouch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Azrou's Tayeb Bidoudane got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Asmun Fegrouch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Azrou booed when Asilah Rachad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amayas Zemmama didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Asilah Rachad's zone, Nasri Regragui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haitham Tafersit came out of the goal and Nasri Regragui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Badis El Guarrouj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Haitham Tafersit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Badis El Guarrouj might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haitham Tafersit. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Badis El Guarrouj ran back to his position shaking his head. Mass El Zhar made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Asmun Fegrouch sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Azrou's goalkeeper Mass El Zhar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 74 minutes, Badis El Guarrouj managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azrou's supporters crossed their fingers, but Badis El Guarrouj was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nasri Regragui took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haitham Tafersit. Haitham Tafersit dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 82 minutes into the game, Izri Sakim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Asilah Rachad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azrou the free kick. In the 82nd match minute, Asilah Rachad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Izri Sakim to maneuver through the defense. Haitham Tafersit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Badis El Guarrouj in the 84th minute of the match. Haitham Tafersit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nasri Regragui in the 85th minute of play. Badis El Guarrouj recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Tanan Belabed fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Asilah Rachad's protests and gave Tanan Belabed a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Asilah Rachad's Tanan Belabed got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 94th minute, Tanan Belabed hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Azrou were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Asilah Rachad for a fine match.
