The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, Guelmim's goal looked a bit too open when Igider Ataba came free, but Ayub Taouil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ziyad Bezzai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fathi Essamlali in the 14th minute of the match. Ayub Taouil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wassim Lahoua, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Yani Soauri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 22 minutes, Omar Arazi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azrou Tihad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Arazi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Wassim Lahoua had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ayub Taouil. Guelmim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wassim Lahoua was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 29th minute, Omar Arazi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Omar Arazi notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Guelmim's Ayub Taouil. Ayub Taouil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ziyad Ghayour kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Fathi Essamlali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziyad Bezzai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Guelmim players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Azrou Tihad were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fathi Essamlali stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Wassim Lahoua came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Azrou Tihad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wassim Lahoua couldn't finish the play. Azrou Tihad's Ziyad Bezzai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yani Soauri in the 54th minute of play. Saif El Mrini hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Fathi Essamlali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Guelmim's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Omar Arazi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Fathi Essamlali's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ziyad Bezzai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Fathi Essamlali ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ziyad Bezzai was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Yani Soauri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omar Arazi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Ayub Taouil made a huge save. Ziyad Bezzai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fathi Essamlali, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Ziyad Bezzai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fathi Essamlali in the 94th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fathi Essamlali in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ziyad Bezzai saved Azrou Tihad from getting behind. The Guelmim supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Azrou Tihad's performance. The match ended with a win for Azrou Tihad.
