Hadji Hamdani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th minute Hadji Hamdani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Massyl Soulaimani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 played minutes Mohammedia got a freekick which was hit by Amezyan Benthami. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mohammedia's goalkeeper Massyl Soulaimani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahmad Zemmama received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Massyl Soulaimani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atbir Oussalah's late challenge caught a Ifrane Najm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atbir Oussalah helped the player get up and apologised. Atbir Oussalah hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ifrane Najm's zone, Tamir Ghayour stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yahya El Guarrouj came out of the goal and Tamir Ghayour tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Ifrane Najm's Hadji Hamdani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Massyl Soulaimani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Yahya El Guarrouj successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mohammedia were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Ifrane Najm's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Munsif Timoumi took the corner. If Atbir Oussalah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tamir Ghayours short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Yahya El Guarrouj to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ziad Kachloul stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ifrane Najm's goalkeeper Yahya El Guarrouj, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tamir Ghayour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Yahya El Guarrouj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tamir Ghayour came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Mohammedia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tamir Ghayour couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Ifrane Najm's Bilal Zaza got a free kick in the 70th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Ifrane Najm's goal looked a bit too open when Ziad Kachloul came free, but Yahya El Guarrouj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Tamir Ghayour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yahya El Guarrouj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Hadji Hamdani notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Mohammedia's Massyl Soulaimani. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ifrane Najm would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
