After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Boutahar Belkhayat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Awzal Ataba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afulay Benthami in the 5th minute of play. If Boutahar Belkhayat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Abdelkhaliq Bendahman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th minute, Abdelkhaliq Bendahman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelkhaliq Bendahman in the 19th minute of play forced Tan-Tan's goalkeeper Abdelkhaliq Zerouali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Tan-Tan's goal looked a bit too open when Asafar Kissi came free, but Abdelkhaliq Zerouali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Imzouren Union Sportive's Awzal Ataba got control of the ball when Boutahar Belkhayat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Boutahar Belkhayat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asafar Kissi struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Abdelkhaliq Zerouali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Imzouren Union Sportive. Asafar Kissi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdelkhaliq Zerouali having to make a save. Awzal Ataba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afulay Benthami, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. In the 47th match minute, Imzouren Union Sportive was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saden Taouni to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Tan-Tan's Abdelkhaliq Zerouali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asafar Kissi in the 69th minute of play. Afulay Benthami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afulay Benthami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Awzal Ataba having to interfere. Abdelkhaliq Zerouali made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Abdelkhaliq Bendahman sent off a good shot on target. Abdelkhaliq Bendahman struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Asafar Ataba charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Asafar Ataba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Imzouren Union Sportive booed when Tan-Tan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asafar Ataba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdelkhaliq Bendahman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Abdelkhaliq Zerouali made a huge save. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Imzouren Union Sportive players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
