Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Igider Chkilit started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Azilal getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Labib Lamyaghri hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tamir Tanjawi in the 9th minute of play forced Azilal's goalkeeper Labib El Ahmadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berkane's Safi Hamidouch got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Fatih Rwina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rachad Fehla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Labib Louissi. Berkane's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aghbalu Ahanfouf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Labib El Ahmadi had in the 28thth minute some difficulties stopping Chakib Fakhir's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Fatih Rwina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the game, Afulay Fegrouch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Azilal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Berkane the free kick. After a rather tough play, Azilal's Afulay Fegrouch got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Labib El Ahmadi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fatih Rwina's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Azilal getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Aghbalu Bezzai hit a great ball. When Berkane's Fatih Rwina in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Azilal's goalie prevented a goal. Labib El Ahmadi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fatih Rwina in the 42nd minute of play. Labib El Ahmadi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tamir Tanjawi in the 44th minute of the match. When Tamir Tanjawi came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Berkane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tamir Tanjawi couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tamir Tanjawi to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igider Chkilit in the 51st minute of play forced Berkane's goalkeeper Labib Louissi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Labib Louissi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igider Chkilit in the 55th minute of play. Maysar Soulaimani's late challenge caught a Azilal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maysar Soulaimani helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th match minute, Berkane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maysar Soulaimani to maneuver through the defense. Tamir Tanjawi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 played minutes Azilal got a freekick which was hit by Afulay Fegrouch. Tamir Tanjawi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Labib El Ahmadi having to interfere. Labib Louissi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aghbalu Ahanfouf, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Aghbalu Ahanfouf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 minutes, Igider Chkilit mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Azilal and the Berkane players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Igider Chkilit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aghbalu Ahanfouf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Labib Louissi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berkane's Labib Louissi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aghbalu Ahanfouf in the 81st minute of play. Labib El Ahmadi made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Fatih Rwina sent off a good shot on target. Izri Aouita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Labib Louissi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berkane's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
