When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tajeddine Jaafari made a kick off. Usaden Farass made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yani Chiba in the 59th minute of play. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ksar-el-Kebir's goalkeeper Taoufiq Dirar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Tajeddine Jaafari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rahim Allach took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Usaden Farass. Usaden Farass dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Usaden Farass took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yani Chiba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Tajeddine Jaafari could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Taoufiq Dirar however easily saved by the left post. When Massinissa El Amrani fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ksar-el-Kebir's protests and gave Massinissa El Amrani a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ksar-el-Kebir getting a freekick after 88 minutes play.
