In the 5thth minute of the game Zaid Rhanem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kenitra's Azerwal Belabed was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Mennad El Zhar notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kenitra's Azerwal Belabed. Azerwal Belabed was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mennad El Zhar couldn't finish the play. 35 minutes into the match, Kenitra's goal looked a bit too open when Zaid Rhanem came free, but Azerwal Belabed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mennad El Zhar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azerwal Belabed having to interfere. If Zaid Rhanem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes, Mohammedia's Tijani El Hadrioui shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Azerwal Belabed came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mohammedia reached it. Abdelhafiz Sbai hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Malek Lohkmiri made a kick off. Ameqran Lahoua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azerwal Belabed having to interfere. Azerwal Belabed showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaid Rhanem, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Azerwal Belabed was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Zaid Rhanem capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zaid Rhanem really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 66 minutes into the match, Mohammedia's goal looked a bit too open when Salim El Assas came free, but Awrib El Zhar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 played minutes Mohammedia got a freekick which was hit by Izri Oulmers. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mohammedia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! Mohammedia:s Awrib El Zhar showed great skill when he stopped Asmun Fehla:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Kenitra's Saber Bezzai got a free kick in the 79th minute. Azerwal Belabed acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 81st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rami Bezzai. Fadel Boughanem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Malek Lohkmiri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Salim El Assas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Awrib El Zhar. Mohammedia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salim El Assas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.
