Abdelkarim Amazigh started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Ifrane getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Mazine Abdelghani hit a great ball. After 7 played minutes, Tarfaya's Yani Berkouch shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Afaw Bezzai came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tarfaya reached it. In the 9th minute Abdelkarim Amazigh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haitham El Ouaryaghli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Abdelkarim Amazigh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th match minute, Tarfaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yani Berkouch to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Ashraf Bistara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afaw Bezzai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sayid Aini in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelkarim Amazigh in the 20th minute of play forced Tarfaya's goalkeeper Haitham El Ouaryaghli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haitham El Ouaryaghli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelkarim Amazigh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Abdelkarim Amazigh had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haitham El Ouaryaghli. Tarfaya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdelkarim Amazigh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 30th minute, one of Tarfaya:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tarfaya. Tarfaya:s Haitham El Ouaryaghli showed great skill when he stopped Bukkus El Khattabi:s penalty. Haitham El Ouaryaghli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelkarim Amazigh in the 33rd minute of the match. After 33 played minutes Tarfaya got a freekick which was hit by Salim El Amrani. Haitham El Ouaryaghli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelkarim Amazigh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Tarfaya's zone, Ghazi Ahahaoui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haitham El Ouaryaghli came out of the goal and Ghazi Ahahaoui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, Tarfaya's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelkarim Amazigh came free, but Haitham El Ouaryaghli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haitham El Ouaryaghli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ghazi Ahahaoui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sayid Aini to strike the kick off in the second half. Sayid Aini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Sayid Aini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afaw Bezzai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Afaw Chafni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelkarim Amazigh in the 65th minute of play forced Tarfaya's goalkeeper Haitham El Ouaryaghli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Saad Tafersit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tarfaya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saad Tafersit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Sayid Aini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afaw Bezzai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sayid Aini, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 75 played minutes Ifrane got a freekick which was hit by Mazine Abdelghani. In the 77th minute, Sayid Aini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afaw Bezzai was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 80th match minute, Ifrane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Winsen El Baz to maneuver through the defense. After 84 played minutes Ifrane got a freekick which was hit by Ashraf Bistara. Afaw Bezzai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saad Tafersit in the 86th minute of the match. Afaw Bezzai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saad Tafersit, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tarfaya's zone, Abdelkarim Amazigh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haitham El Ouaryaghli came out of the goal and Abdelkarim Amazigh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yani Berkouch hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
