After a rather tough play, Tarfaya's Salim El Amrani got a free kick in the 4th minute. Haitham El Ouaryaghli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Youmni Ahanfouf in the 6th minute of the match. Mokhtar Faris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afaw Chafni, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saad Tafersit in the 10th minute of play forced Marrakech Atletico's goalkeeper Mokhtar Faris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Najim Boutarbouch came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Haitham El Ouaryaghli could save by the left post. With an all-out effort, Marrakech Atletico's Haitham El Ouaryaghli threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Youmni Ahanfouf, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 15th match minute, Tarfaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salim El Amrani to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Safi Essamlali sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tarfaya's Haitham El Ouaryaghli didn't even have to move. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mokhtar Faris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Marrakech Atletico getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Usaden Kacemi hit a great ball. In the 34th minute of the match Yani Berkouch shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mokhtar Faris showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Tarfaya getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Agafay El Hirech hit a great ball. In the 44th minute Sayid Aini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mokhtar Faris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haitham El Ouaryaghli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Najim Boutarbouch in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Marrakech Atletico's Malek El Bassel got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Sayid Aini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 64 played minutes Marrakech Atletico got a freekick which was hit by Usaden Kacemi. When Youmni Ahanfouf came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Marrakech Atletico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Youmni Ahanfouf couldn't finish the play. Youmni Ahanfouf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haitham El Ouaryaghli having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Sayid Aini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mokhtar Faris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marrakech Atletico's goalkeeper Mokhtar Faris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tarfaya had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
