Birch House City's Monir El Baz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamin Farass in the 16th minute of play. Chakib Tanjawi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Gulusa Tafersit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nouman El Kasmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birch House City's Monir El Baz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamin Farass in the 25th minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Aghbalu Kolna Mgharba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Birch House City's Monir El Baz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tamin Farass sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46thth minute of the game Yassir Hamidouch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ouarzazate's Gulusa Tafersit was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 46 played minutes Ouarzazate got a freekick which was hit by Abdelkabir Hamouch. 48 minutes into the game, Birch House City's Nouman El Kasmi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gulusa Tafersit made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yassir Hamidouch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aghbalu Kolna Mgharba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Monir El Baz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yassir Hamidouch in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gulusa Tafersit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Birch House City getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Chakib Tanjawi hit a great ball. Monir El Baz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aghbalu Kolna Mgharba, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Birch House City's goal looked a bit too open when Aghbalu Kolna Mgharba came free, but Monir El Baz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nouman El Kasmi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gulusa Tafersit having to make a save. After 72 minutes, Jawad El Assas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ouarzazate and the Birch House City players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ouarzazate booed when Birch House City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chakib Tanjawi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Birch House City's Monir El Baz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Birch House City from getting a goal against them. Chakib Tanjawi's late challenge caught a Ouarzazate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chakib Tanjawi helped the player get up and apologised. Chakib Tanjawi hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Tamin Farass ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Monir El Baz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After 83 played minutes Ouarzazate got a freekick which was hit by Fouad Bistara. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aghbalu Kolna Mgharba in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Monir El Baz saved Birch House City from getting behind. Birch House City's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Aghbalu Kolna Mgharba 94 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3. With a little luck, Birch House City's Monir El Baz got control of the ball when Tamin Farass tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yassir Hamidouch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gulusa Tafersit read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 100th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ouarzazate eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
