Amin El Amrani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Nour Agazou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aksim El Bahri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taoufiq El Fatouaki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Yahya Massoun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yahya Massoun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amin El Amrani having to make a save. After the first half Essaouira Youssoufia were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Taoufiq El Fatouaki made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yahya Massoun in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amin El Amrani saved Kenitra Athletic Cleub from getting behind. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Essaouira Youssoufia's goalkeeper Aksim El Bahri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Essaouira Youssoufia's Nour Agazou got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Essaouira Youssoufia's goal looked a bit too open when Naoufal El Bahri came free, but Aksim El Bahri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yahya Massoun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Amin El Amrani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amin El Amrani was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Yahya Massoun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 71 minute of play. If Yahya Massoun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Kenitra Athletic Cleub's goal looked a bit too open when Yahya Massoun came free, but Amin El Amrani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Essaouira Youssoufia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kenitra Athletic Cleub throughout the match.
