Fadel El Khayati might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yassir Fakhir. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fadel El Khayati ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Khemisset getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Camil Abrami hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Ouezzane Stade's Nasri Dirar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yassir Fakhir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Khemisset booed when Ouezzane Stade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Younes El Khayati didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Ayub Tahiri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yassir Fakhir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fadel El Khayati in the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Khemisset's goal looked a bit too open when Younes El Khayati came free, but Yassir Fakhir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 22 minutes, Younes El Khayati managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ouezzane Stade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Younes El Khayati was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Badr Ziati hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Khemisset's Fouad Ziyati got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Nasri Dirar sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Khemisset's Yassir Fakhir didn't even have to move. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Khemisset's goalkeeper Yassir Fakhir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fouad Ziyati hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Khemisset's Ayub Tahiri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bukkus Agazou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Ouezzane Stade's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wali El Guarrouj fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 47 minutes into the game, Badr El Ouaryaghli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ouezzane Stade's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Khemisset the free kick. In the 47th minute, one of Ouezzane Stade:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ouezzane Stade. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Bukkus Agazou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ayub Tahiri, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Bukkus Agazou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayub Tahiri in the 55th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ayub Tahiri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bukkus Agazou was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Khemisset's goalkeeper Yassir Fakhir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Younes El Khayati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yassir Fakhir having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fadel El Khayati in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yassir Fakhir saved Khemisset from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Ouezzane Stade's Fadel El Khayati ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yassir Fakhir. Yassir Fakhir yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Yassir Fakhir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fadel El Khayati in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ayub Tahiri in the 88th minute of play forced Ouezzane Stade's goalkeeper Bukkus Agazou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fadel El Khayati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 98 minutes into the game, Khemisset's Ayub Tahiri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bukkus Agazou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Ouezzane Stade supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ouezzane Stade would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
