Khemisset's Yassir Fakhir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Khemisset from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Awzal El Ouardi in the 6th minute of play forced Khemisset's goalkeeper Yassir Fakhir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wali El Guarrouj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tahir El Guarrouj having to interfere. Yassir Fakhir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Taha Ghayour in the 11th minute. If Ayub Tahiri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taha Ghayour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Yassir Fakhir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Khemisset getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Badr Ziati hit a great ball. If Souleimane El Amrani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wali Boulami's late challenge caught a Kenitra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wali Boulami helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Khemisset got a freekick which was hit by Wali Boulami. Taha Ghayour recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute, Kenitra's Taha Ghayour dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Badr Ziati's late challenge caught a Kenitra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Badr Ziati helped the player get up and apologised. Yassir Fakhir made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Souleimane El Amrani sent off a good shot on target. Taha Ghayour struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Yassir Fakhir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kenitra. Tahir El Guarrouj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wali El Guarrouj in the 41st minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Kenitra's goal looked a bit too open when Ayub Tahiri came free, but Tahir El Guarrouj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tahir El Guarrouj stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ayub Tahiri's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Taha Ghayour to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Taha Ghayour made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Khemisset's Yassir Fakhir tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Khemisset's Wali El Guarrouj got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wali El Guarrouj's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Tahir El Guarrouj skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Wali El Guarrouj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Souleimane El Amrani struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Yassir Fakhir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kenitra. When Kenitra's Taha Ghayour in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Khemisset's goalie prevented a goal. When Ayub Tahiri came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Khemisset fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ayub Tahiri couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the match, Ayub Tahiri dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tahir El Guarrouj, 3-1. The supporters of Kenitra booed when Khemisset was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fouad Ziyati didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Taha Ghayour's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yassir Fakhir was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. With a little luck, Kenitra's Tahir El Guarrouj got control of the ball when Wali El Guarrouj tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kenitra fans cheered their team off the field, for while Khemisset had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
