The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bukkus Agazou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaya Roumani in the 5th minute of the match. Badr El Ouaryaghli hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute Tamir Mehdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bukkus Agazou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Younes El Khayati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saif El Kaoutar made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Younes El Khayati sent off a good shot on target. If Gaya Roumani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute, Gaya Roumani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Younes El Khayati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fadel El Khayati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saif El Kaoutar having to interfere. Younes El Khayati might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saif El Kaoutar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Younes El Khayati ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fadel El Khayati in the 35th minute of play forced Zagora's goalkeeper Saif El Kaoutar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaya Roumani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tamir Mehdi in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bukkus Agazou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mazine El Kasmi during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ouezzane Stade booed when Zagora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mazine El Kasmi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ouezzane Stade's Nasri Dirar tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Saif El Kaoutar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Younes El Khayati in the 44th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tamir Mehdi made the kick off in the second half. Gaya Roumani in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bukkus Agazou, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 55 minutes into the game, Wakil Farid was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ouezzane Stade's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zagora the free kick. Wakil Farid kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Ouezzane Stade's goal looked a bit too open when Tamir Mehdi came free, but Bukkus Agazou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ouezzane Stade's Afalkay Kissi got a free kick in the 59th minute. A hard shot 60 in the game by Gaya Roumani from a close distance when the talented Bukkus Agazou managed to make a qualified save. Ouezzane Stade's players were relieved. Zagora's Saif El Kaoutar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Younes El Khayati in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Younes El Khayati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saif El Kaoutar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tayeb Jbilou fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ouezzane Stade's protests and gave Tayeb Jbilou a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Zagora booed when Ouezzane Stade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tayeb Jbilou didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Zagora's Gaya Roumani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bukkus Agazou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Saif El Kaoutar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Younes El Khayati, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 minutes of play, Ouezzane Stade's Younes El Khayati made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saif El Kaoutar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tayeb Jbilou kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. With a little luck, Ouezzane Stade's Bukkus Agazou got control of the ball when Gaya Roumani tried to sneak it across the goal line.
