Tarek El Kaoutar kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Nouman Rabeh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amin Jbilou in the 4th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tarek El Kaoutar during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th minute, Tarek El Kaoutar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ouassim Molhamam who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Nouman Rabeh when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aslal El Kaoutar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Najid Kouha in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Khouribga's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ouassim Molhamam fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Nouman Rabeh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tarek El Kaoutar in the 20th minute. If Tajeddine Arazi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ouassim Molhamam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Nouman Rabeh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Khouribga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salam Ghayour to maneuver through the defense. Aslal El Kaoutar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amazigh Bouden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Itri Jilaidi hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nador's goalkeeper Aslal El Kaoutar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Tajeddine Arazi came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Khouribga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tajeddine Arazi couldn't finish the play. Amazigh Bouden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Amin Jbilou made the kick off in the second half. Khouribga's Nouman Rabeh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tarek El Kaoutar in the 55th minute of play. Ouassim Molhamam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Nouman Rabeh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amazigh Bouden got free with Aslal El Kaoutar in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute, Jamal Naybet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salam Ghayour was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Ouassim Molhamam came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Nador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ouassim Molhamam couldn't finish the play. Nador's Amin Jbilou got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
