After having played for 10 minutes, Othmane Diba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rabat Tihad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Othmane Diba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 13 minutes of play, Er Rachidia Olympique's Fayssal Daoudi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Udad Zerouali was left in no man's land by his defense there! Udad Zerouali made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fayssal Daoudi in the 21st minute. Er Rachidia Olympique's Wali Soulaimani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Othmane Diba in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Soubhi Bourkadi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Udad Zerouali, passed just outside the right post. Wali Soulaimani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Othmane Diba in the 34th minute of play. Fayssal Daoudi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Idriss Abdellaoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Idriss Abdellaoui to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Er Rachidia Olympique's Daoud El Hamdaoui got a free kick in the 51st minute. Rabat Tihad's Idriss Abdellaoui got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 74 played minutes Er Rachidia Olympique got a freekick which was hit by Antalas Lohkmiri. In the 76th match minute, Er Rachidia Olympique was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antalas Lohkmiri to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Idriss Abdellaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rabat Tihad's supporters rose to their feet, but Idriss Abdellaoui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wali Soulaimani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
