An unexpectedly hard shot by Ouassim Chakhssi in the 29th minute of play forced Ouarzazate's goalkeeper Chakir Massoun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ouarzazate's Chakir Massoun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazine Bendahman in the 47th minute of play.

Mazine Bendahman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Chakir Massoun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mazine Bendahman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Agwmar El Hadrioui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute Aznag Boualouch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agafay El Ahmadi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nour Lahlafi in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agafay El Ahmadi saved Ben Taib from getting behind. If Agwmar El Hadrioui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Agwmar El Hadrioui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agafay El Ahmadi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agafay El Ahmadi came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Ouarzazate's Agwmar El Hadrioui. But to his dismay, Agwmar El Hadrioui quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ben Taib players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ouarzazate.
