An unexpectedly hard shot by Saif Louzani in the 16th minute of play forced Ksar-el-Kebir's goalkeeper Rachad Yaacoubi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Green Eagles's Irat El Emmani, in the 19th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Green Eagles. When Afulay Lohkmiri fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ksar-el-Kebir's protests and gave Afulay Lohkmiri a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ksar-el-Kebir getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Afulay Lohkmiri hit a great ball. Zuhair El Hadrioui's late challenge caught a Green Eagles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zuhair El Hadrioui helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ksar-el-Kebir fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! Tajeddine El Baz made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Awsim Dirar sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute, Awsim Dirar made a precise shot to the right of Tajeddine El Baz. Green Eagles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saif Louzani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rachad Yaacoubi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Irat El Emmani in the 56th minute. After 61 played minutes Green Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Saad Arrafi. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Irat El Emmani got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Ksar-el-Kebir booed when Green Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mass Hissou didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Awsim Dirar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ksar-el-Kebir fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Irat El Emmani succeeded in the game's 79th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. 83 minutes into the match, Green Eagles's Irat El Emmani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rachad Yaacoubi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rachad Yaacoubi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Irat El Emmani in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Green Eagles walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
