Malek Boughanem came out and tried to block the shot, but Asmun Kachloul slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rami Timoumi in the 12th minute of play forced Tangier Fath's goalkeeper Malek Boughanem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samih Boughanem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amenzu Touzani in the 16th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Tan-Tan's goal looked a bit too open when Nasseh Essamlali came free, but Samih Boughanem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tan-Tan's Karim Taouni got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Amenzu Touzani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Samih Boughanem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Misifsen Baba fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tan-Tan's protests and gave Misifsen Baba a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Tan-Tan got a freekick which was hit by Misifsen Baba. Misifsen Baba got his second yellow card in the match during the 31st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 32nd match minute, Tan-Tan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Misifsen Baba to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the game, Aderbal El Bahri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Samih Boughanem was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Samih Boughanem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aderbal El Bahri in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Osmane El Azhari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Asmun Kachloul ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Malek Boughanem was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amenzu Touzani was the one to do the kick off. Nasseh Essamlali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Samih Boughanem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tan-Tan's goalkeeper Samih Boughanem, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tangier Fath's Malek Boughanem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asmun Kachloul in the 90th minute of play. Samih Boughanem made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Aderbal El Bahri sent off a good shot on target. Asmun Kachloul recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tangier Fath's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
